AEL has the in-house capabilities to carry out feasibility studies, from scoping study level through to full bankable level. AEL’s metallurgical and engineering personnel have substantial experience in design, construction and operation of major mineral processing facilities and associated infrastructure. This experience and expertise allows AEL to deliver optimal and importantly, practical study outcomes for our clients.

AEL has engineering design capabilities across all project disciplines including earthworks, civil works, structural, mechanical, piping, electrical and instrumentation.

For EPC style contracts AEL is the contracting entity of Forge and manages the internal resources of the group to execute the works.

The ability to fast track projects is dependent upon availability and control over critical resources. These critical resources include those associated with the engineering, project management, supply, fabrication and construction functions of projects. As outlined above, AEL’s business is structured such that these critical resources are sourced and controlled from within our own Group. This structure allows effective allocation and prioritisation of resources to maintain aggressive overall project schedules. Of particular importance in fast tracking of projects is having the design and construction functions carried out by, and under the control of, the one Group.
