AEL are able to offer a complete design, supply, fabrication and construction service for both brownfields and greenfields projects.

All project disciplines are executed utilising AEL’s and other Forge Group in-house resources, from civil, structural, mechanical and piping works through to electrical, instrumentation and control system works.

This approach to contract execution ensures AEL maintains tight control over all aspects of our projects and provides the project/client with the following advantages:

• By minimising subcontracted works outside of the Group, competitive contract pricing can be achieved without compromising quality.
• Schedule control is maximised as schedule driven priorities can be managed effectively and directly with full control over in-house production and installation activities.
• Safety implementation is streamlined and effective as all personnel and project disciplines are educated and experienced in the requirements of the Group’s safety systems.
• IR/HR issues are minimised with the majority of site labour directly employed by the Group under standardised conditions and agreements.
• Major construction equipment used on site is owned, maintained and operated by the Group and therefore safety and reliability of construction equipment is assured through our own asset management program.
• Minimises the impact (on progress and cost) of any scope changes or special client requirements throughout the project by reduced exposure to sub-contractor commercial terms and claims.
• Project quality is maintained by having direct internal control over all stages of production and installation under the one quality management system.
